Seneca has an apartment-style residence at both Newnham Campus and
King Campus.
The residences are located close to classes and
facilities such as the library, computer labs and sports activities.
Each apartment is fully furnished with two private bedrooms, a kitchen
complete with refrigerator and microwave, and a private bathroom.
Each building is monitored by security and has 24 hour controlled
access.
There are furnished lounges, study rooms and social
areas. It is air conditioned, and has elevators, laundry and storage
facilities. Rooms also include telephones, voicemail and TV/Cable. The
residences are conveniently located to all major shopping and commercial
centres.

Newnham Campus
Located right on the grounds of the main facility, the
Seneca Residence & Conference Centre at the Newnham Campus is an
air-conditioned building which houses 1,112 students. There are common
rooms on each floor, available to all Residents complete with video
games, pool table and large screen television, as well as study lounges
for individual or group study sessions. There are Barrier-Free
facilities available for students with physical disabilities.

King Campus
Located in an idyllic setting with over 700 acres of forest, lake and
trails, the King Campus Residence &
Conference Centre is an air-conditioned building which houses 228
students. There are common TV/lounge/games rooms available to all
residents, as well as study lounges for individual or group study
sessions. For students in wheelchairs, there are Barrier-Free facilities
available.

at the Keele Campus. Seneca@York students are encouraged to apply by the
published application deadline dates and will be considered after York
University students are placed.

New Shuttle Bus Service
From Seneca Residence to Markham &
York campuses
Starting September 2009, the Seneca College Residence
will offer free shuttle bus service to residents who attend Seneca’s
Markham and York Campuses. This shuttle service is being provided
in support of the student life experience, and offers a free and
convenient alternative to public transit. Service will run continuously
between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Schedules are being developed
during the summer with continued input from the student population and
with the goal of creating a convenient method of transportation to and
from these campuses.
